Printer Not Printing
Check Basics
- Is printer powered on?
- Is there paper in the printer?
- Is the cover closed properly?
USB Printers
- Check USB cable connection
- Try a different USB port
- Try a different cable
- Restart the POS terminal
Network Printers
- Verify printer is on the network
- Check IP address hasn't changed
- Print test page from printer itself
- Re-add printer with current IP
Paper Jam
- Open printer cover
- Carefully remove jammed paper
- Check for torn pieces
- Reload paper roll correctly
- Close cover until it clicks
Printing Blank Receipts
Paper may be loaded backwards:
- Open cover
- Remove paper roll
- Reload with thermal side facing out
- Close cover
Faded Printing
- Old or low-quality paper
- Print head may need cleaning
- Contact support for print head cleaning
