POS Not Connecting to Internet

Check Basic Connectivity

  1. Verify other devices can connect
  2. Check if WiFi/Ethernet cable is connected
  3. Look for network icon status on terminal

WiFi Troubleshooting

  1. Go to Settings → Network
  2. Verify correct WiFi network selected
  3. Forget network and reconnect
  4. Enter password again carefully

Ethernet Troubleshooting

  1. Check cable is firmly connected at both ends
  2. Try a different Ethernet port on router
  3. Try a different cable
  4. Check for link lights on router port

Router/Modem Issues

  1. Power cycle router (unplug 30 seconds, replug)
  2. Wait 2-3 minutes for full restart
  3. Check if internet works on other devices

Using Offline Mode

If internet is down, STOVE can operate in offline mode:

  • Continue taking orders
  • Cash payments work normally
  • Cards stored for processing when online
  • Data syncs automatically when connected
