Managing Tips

Tip Prompt Configuration

Configure tip prompts in Settings → Payments → Tips:

• Enable/disable tip prompts on terminal
• Set suggested tip percentages (e.g., 18%, 20%, 25%)
• Option for custom tip amount
• No tip option

Tip on Receipt

For signed receipts:

1. Customer adds tip to receipt
2. Server enters tip adjustment in POS
3. Go to Tip Adjust from order or shift view
4. Enter tip amount
5. Save adjustment

Tip Pooling

Configure tip pools in Settings → Tips → Tip Pools:

• Create pool groups (Front of House, Back of House)
• Set distribution percentages by role
• System calculates pool amounts automatically

Tip Reports

Access tip reports for:

• Tips by employee
• Tips by shift
• Tip pool distributions
• Cash vs. credit card tips
