Use this checklist to ensure everything is ready before your first service with STOVE.
Before Opening
- ☐ All terminals powered on and connected to network
- ☐ Printers loaded with paper and tested
- ☐ Cash drawers have starting banks counted
- ☐ All employees have their PINs and know how to clock in
- ☐ Menu items verified and priced correctly
- ☐ Payment terminals connected and processing test transaction successful
Staff Training Reminders
- ☐ How to start a new order
- ☐ Adding items and modifiers
- ☐ Processing payments (card, cash, split)
- ☐ Applying discounts (manager approval if required)
- ☐ Voiding items vs. comping items
- ☐ How to call for help (support number posted)
End of Day
- ☐ Run End of Day report
- ☐ Count cash drawers and reconcile
- ☐ Review sales summary
- ☐ Note any issues for follow-up
