Use this checklist to ensure everything is ready before your first service with STOVE.

Before Opening

  • ☐ All terminals powered on and connected to network
  • ☐ Printers loaded with paper and tested
  • ☐ Cash drawers have starting banks counted
  • ☐ All employees have their PINs and know how to clock in
  • ☐ Menu items verified and priced correctly
  • ☐ Payment terminals connected and processing test transaction successful

Staff Training Reminders

  • ☐ How to start a new order
  • ☐ Adding items and modifiers
  • ☐ Processing payments (card, cash, split)
  • ☐ Applying discounts (manager approval if required)
  • ☐ Voiding items vs. comping items
  • ☐ How to call for help (support number posted)

End of Day

  • ☐ Run End of Day report
  • ☐ Count cash drawers and reconcile
  • ☐ Review sales summary
  • ☐ Note any issues for follow-up
