Understanding Permissions

Permissions control what actions each role can perform. Proper permissions protect your business while enabling efficient service.

Accessing Permission Settings

  1. Go to Team → Roles & Permissions
  2. Select a role to edit
  3. Toggle permissions on/off

Common Permission Categories

Orders

  • Create orders
  • Void items (before send)
  • Void items (after send)
  • Apply discounts
  • Comp items
  • Open cash drawer

Payments

  • Process payments
  • Issue refunds
  • Adjust tips
  • View others' orders

Reports

  • View sales reports
  • View labor reports
  • Export data

Management

  • Edit menu items

Creating Custom Roles

  1. Click Add Role
  2. Name the role
  3. Select applicable permissions
  4. Save the role
  5. Assign to employees
